Well, with the gear extended it would move the fulcrum forward , so it wont tip on the ground. The big ? is cg. The engine with a metal c/s prop,not to mention an oil tank and air tank (for start) would weigh more than an 0470 and prop, yet it seems those engines are against the firewall. Perhaps a battery in the tail would help. Spoke to the guy who has it. He said they basically just copied a pitts model 12 figuring they were of comperable size, and would worry about balancing later. The fear would be having to add 20 or 30 lbs to the tail. On the upside the wings are larger than normal, I believe he said about 2 -3 ft more span.
