The guys are right, don't lengthen stick travel! I already have the stick against my seat cushion, harness buckle and my big belly on landing, and need every last fraction of an inch to handle my front-heavy SA300 in the landing flare.
It all depends on the pilot's size, seat, whether a parachute worn (a huge variable) and engine size (the 540 birds can be nose heavy).
Besides, you're thinking of curing a problem that doesn't exist. SA300 pitch forces are hardly over-sensitive.
