John my email is firstname.lastname@example.org My 670 is basically firewall forward off a stearman. It has no oil cooler and I have never had high oil temp problems, usually its the opposite getting all that oil hot. My battery is on the left side behind the pilots seat, but my oil reservoir is also on the left side (ahead of the firewall). I would move the battery to the opposite side of the oil tank to even out the weight. My tank is factory Stearman around 2 gallons I would guess (Oil changes take a liitle over 3 gallons.)My skin goes back to the rear of the rear cockpit and it is also .025 aluminum.
