Thanks for your comments. I have a 670-23 with a CS prop. Fortunately I can reduce the diameter of the prop a few inches and still be within specs for the engine - prop combination.. The engine is also mounted about 3 inches above centerline. I did beef up the upper & lower longeroons with tube inserts and rosette welds but not the attach points.
I managed to find a cowl from a UC-78. I've adapted the inner 'cowl' to the mounting ring and the firewall. Do you have an outer cowl ?
