Worry about what you want to, one of the advantages of Experimental. Sure there are aluminum fittings available for the firewall. It can take you longer to get on the ground than it takes a fuel fed engine fire to melt thru aluminum. It's a simple assessment of risk, especially for a 2 seater where the front passenger has a fuel tank in their lap. But hey, that's the beauty of Experimental - do it the best you can or settle for something else.
